Details and History

Acorn Press is a commercial print company located in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Founded in 1982, the Managing Director is a co-founder of the company.

Since 1982, the company expanded via organic growth and small acquisitions, principally servicing agency and retail clients.

Initially, the company opened with just one single colour Heidelberg press and two staff.

Today, the company utilises a state of the art Heidelberg 6-colour press, a Heidelberg 2-colour press, Pre-Press Heidelberg CTP, a Heidelberg Cylinder and Platen plus in-house folding, stitching, guillotining, cello glazing and finishing. Operating as an A2 printing business and utilising only Heidelberg presses, the company employs over 20 staff.

The company has a diversified client base of over 100 clients, producing fast turnaround, reasonably priced, high quality printing.

Specialising in meeting clients expectations, Acorn Press also provides Sydney-wide delivery services via an in-house delivery van and driver.
